A choir that is remarkably well balanced, effortless in its projection of a tight choral sound, and delivers the virtuosity and brilliance possible when the choristers are excellent and the direction is imaginative and musical.”
— Kenneth Delong, for the Calgary Herald

Meghan Goguen joined the Luminous Voices team in July 2019.

In April, 2017 Meghan completed her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance and Literature at Western University. She has since worked in Calgary in a number of artistic capacities, including singing in the chorus with Calgary Opera, Event Managing for Cowtown Opera, Arts Administrative work for Prairie Debut and a stint as the Interim Artistic Operations Coordinator for the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also had the opportunity to work with Land’s End Ensemble as their Marketing Coordinator for their 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, in addition to pursuing her career in performance. She has just started a performing arts company with two colleagues and friends, with their main medium being opera.

Meghan is ecstatic to be joining Luminous Voices for their exciting 2019-20 season, and looks forward to growing the community of choral music-lovers in Calgary, while finding new ways for the organisation to engage with our community.
